What our host sees
Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Maps
Map pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap and weather and river layers from NOAA/National Weather Service servers. Those services receive your IP address and the map area you view, under their own privacy policies.
Search
Site search runs in your browser against a small index file on our own server. What you type is not sent anywhere.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Email alerts may be added later; if they are, this page will be updated first.
